I find Adelaide is really lacking when it comes to good children's cafes. Do you agree? I don't like ones that are mainly huge playgrounds. If I wanted a playground I'd pack a lunch and head outdoors.

There are some great children's cafes that have fun kids' areas & kids menus but still have all the great benefits of a good cafe. Tram Stop Number 4 is one I'd like to try in Adelaide.
I don't think I know of any children's cafes. Maybe I'll have to look for. I know coffee barun has small children's play area with a few toys.
Try Splodge on Diagonal Road, Warradale, opposite the Oaklands Park train station just 2 minutes from Westfield Marion. Kids can get crafty and play with all the low level interactive activities or make use of the outdoor area and there are tables intermingled for enjoying a coffee. Its quiet, quirky and different.
